View Full Version : [ubuntu] gLabel print problem

I've been pleased with my two-month-old Ubuntu 11.04 install. But I've ht a problem:

The labeling program gLabel has served me well over several years. I installed it today on Ubuntu and it worked a charm --- except when I set out to print a label.

On my Debian Lenny system, clicking on print brings up a screen that enables you to select one or more labels on the selected Avery product. Then, it prints exactly the label(s) you've selected.

But, today, gLabel went straight to print, filling every label on the Avery sheet with the address that I'd entered.

There's a bug here somewhere. But I'm not sure if it's at my end: Ubuntu installation, printer driver, missing something on the UI; or if it's a bug in Ubuntu, gLabel packaging, or the gLabel program itself.

Does anyone have a clue?

And, if so, what can we do about it?

Best wishes,

LRP
