Hi all that read this.
I'm used to using Dreamweaver. Now that I running UBUNTU, I need a HTML editor that can perform as close to Dreamweaver as possible.
Am I asking to much?
Anybody know what to use?
I have, tried Seamonkey, Bluefish, but they just do not work for me. Seamonkey is just a pain.
I need to be able to write code, but also be able to see what I have done, without opening another program.
Please point me to a program....

Thanks.
Andy.

Don't know anything about Dreamweaver so can't say how close it is, but you could try Kompozer as a GUI web page authorer.

Its in the repositories, webpage is http://kompozer.net/

I was looking for a HTML editor last night, although not one that I can view my work in while using it (most editors these days don't do that). Komodo Edit looks nice, and it has a paid IDE version if you need more options. Good luck!

Hi and thanks for all your input.
Tried out KOMPOZER, and it's good. I like it. Works for me.
Cheers
