Should I switch to Ubuntu? I have a gaming computer and I am a gamer.

Windows does not like me, I have to reformat every month or so.

What do you think?

If you are a gamer you wont want to use Ubuntu. Which Windows do you use? You should not have to reformat ever. Try consulting a Windows forum. Windows 7 is very stable. You may have a hardware issue or dodgy software. Make sure you have MS Security Essentials installed or a good anti-virus.

What's the hardware on your Microsoft machine that's causing you to reformate every month? I've never heard of this happening to anyone before, not being funny, so I'm a bit curious as to what you're using on that particular machine?

I'd say get that issue addressed first with your hardware before you even attempt to use Ubuntu because whatever is causing problems with your Windows machine may also cause problems if you do make the switch to Ubuntu.
