Hi all.
The pc is running Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala using the onboard graphics that came with the motherboard. The problem is that if I am typing text in the web browser or in a text editor on my pc, all too frequently, if I press the 'Enter' key on my keyboard to move to the next line of text, the computer automatically goes to the Ubuntu login screen with a weird distorted graphic appearing across the entire screen. If I log in again, the everything is lost and I have to start again. The text/graphics appear all messed up and only rectifies itself when I restart the pc. The text can actually be read but but the colour are more like those on a screen in 3D vision.
Any idea at all what could be causing this?
Thanks.
