Karadar.com is a site which offers free and legal classical music mp3s. I want to download some Beethoven Symphony 6 (a.k.a Pastoral).

Start at http://www.karadar.com/mp3composer/Default.htm .

Now type "pastoral" into the blank.
Click "title" radio button.
Click search.

It will take you to the results page.

Click on the 5th result, "(e) Sheperd’s Song 09'35'' 9.2 Mb"

a popup window (http://www.karadar.com/mp3composer/Download.asp?mp3Id=1742&id=bee_sy60) appears. There is a grey button labeled "Download Karadar MP3!" and there's a text hyperlink that says "Follow this link to download the file."

Clicking either one seems to get the same page (http://cocoa.itc.it:8080/cocoakaradar/home.jsp) of a cup of coffee on top of a CD.

Where's the mp3?

I've tried both Opera 9 Beta 2 and Firefox.

I've tried it too and you have to go through a lot of pages before you can download something.
Enter the Cocoa site that you get.
Than you must register(Spam?).
Then you must research the tracks that you want and add them.
Give that compilation a name.
Choose to download them.
Then they will ask you a question, that you must answer correctly.
Now you can download them(unfortunately I don't know anything about Classical music, so I don't know if they give you the correct files).

so, does this means we could start off with http://cocoa.itc.it:8080/cocoakaradar/SrvEditCompilation?oper=add, and not karadar.com.?

it sure sounds logical to start with http://cocoa.itc.it:8080/cocoakaradar/SrvEditCompilation?oper=add
