Happy Birthday World Wide Web, 20 years old today (August 6th 1991)

oh i feel old...BBS, usenet, archie, gopher, COMPUSERVE and i even have an acoustic coupler somewhere in the attic (loft)

on top of which my lovely middle school has recently closed and lots of photos are being uploaded to various sites for nostalgia....ahhh where did the time go ;-)

I think you'll find HTML and the World Wide Web was created in 1989 by Tim Berners-Lee at CERN in Switzerland! So its actually 22 years old.

Think this thread needs to go to sleep for another 20 years, so closed.
