yeah, I'm running a live version of ubuntu 10.04 32bit, and I've noticed that every time I add something to the trash can, it won't empty, and I can't move the item out of the trash can once it's in. Is it a feature of live ubuntu versions? Is there any way to change or modify that?

I've randomly had this happen every so often when not logging out/rebooting for long periods of time, and a logout or reboot seems to have purged the files.
Not sure why however.

see, mine doesn't matter if you restart it or not, the file won't move. Is yours a live or a full linux install? And what version of linux is it? is there a plugin that could change something?

well, looks like the recycle bin decided to delete files after all!
Thank You everyone!
