Hi Guys,
When booting my system up it hangs for 10 seconds with a flashing CLI cursor, then displays the following message:
[ 19.972145] AC'97 0 access is not valid [0x0], removing mixer Then the bootsplash flashes for a second and the Ubuntu sounds as well as any audio I'm listening to isn't perfect.
What Would I Liked Answered? ---------------------
1. What does this message mean exactly?
2. How to fix it?
3. How to restore my bootsplash back to its normal operating parameters?
Any help will be appreciated
