can you elaborate on what exactly you mean by "erase to transparency" tool'?
Chances are good.. the ability to do whatever you're thinking is probably there,
in one form or another.

Just a little confused by the term "erase to transparency".

well you know you can have a new transparent layer, where it doesn't effect other images or what naught. i want to be able to erase some bits so that its just transparent. if you know what im trying to say? o.O

You need to make a 'selection' of the area you want transparent, 'Select, Invert' then use the 'Layer, Mask, Mask to Selection'

Not sure what you mean, if you have multiple layers, and you erase one layer, the layer underneath comes through, ie what you erase is transparent

Everyone sucks when they first start. Post some of your work on here in an art channel.
