I am using ubuntu 10.04 LTS. I have also downloaded and installed some extra packages using apt-get. My doubt is, right now the ubuntu I have is more than what I initially downloaded because of the extra packages. Is it possible to take a back-up of the entire operating system at present (original ubuntu+downloaded and installed packages) and install these in another machine? If it is possible, please explain how to do that.
