Failed to download Package files error

Hi Guys,
I just installed Ubuntu 11.04 but
"whenever i try to download or install any software from 'Ubuntu software Center' it gives error: "
Failed to download Package Files Check your internet Connection"
Internet is working fine!
Please help!!!!!

I've also tried the command: "sudo apt-get update"

wht is the output from ifconfig n iwconfig in terminal?
