Problem

I have a big problem with the graphic interface of ubuntu, actually i'm a new user of it i just have like 3 days with it so i really need help cuz I've downloaded the compiz desktop effects or something like that trying to get the desktop cube for ubuntu 11.04 and I'm not really sure what I did and the task bar disappeared and then I can't do anything. I actually saw that the shortcuts work but i'm not able to move the windows when i open them.
