furthermore i dont hav any lan or wireless connection on my netbook.,,.That's a shame. I extracted it and when I had installed, literally, about 60 different dependencies and I still hadn't gotten the package installed, I gave up and did:
sudo apt-get install bluemanIt was downloaded from the Ubuntu repositories and installed without difficulty.

It would be a lot easier to get your ethernet or wireless working and do it the easy way.

I have questions about whether a package that was last updated in 2009 will work as well as the official package from Ubuntu. The README included in the package is blank.
