How would you do this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpwVfl3m32w

I've googled everything from voice overs to female computer voice. I got a lot of stuff about reverb, audio phasing, and throwing in a little white noise, I don't see what the white noise has to do with it, but I've tried all the tutorials (Very bland, with no settings, so I had to tweak them) I still can't get the computer voice you hear in the movies??? How would one go about obtaining such voice?

I've tried espeak it's not very natural sounding. I've tried it. I even have gespeak to help me go through all the voices.

Yes very harsh sounding and way to fast.

It's supposed to be fast. Visually impaired users actually increase the speed to amazing levels, so they can efficiently navigate around the screen. I'm told that some of the more mechanical voices are better at high speeds than a natural one is, but this is probably a matter of personal preference.
