View Full Version : [ubuntu] Wifi setup on Pandaboard running Ubuntu 11.04

I'm running Ubuntu 11.04 (kernel version 2.6.38 on my Pandaboard.
when I run iwconfig, wlan0 shows up but the wireless is disabled. I am not able to start it up :(

I have not installed any patches or anything. Can anyone help me solve this problem? Either upgrade kernel to 2.6.39+ or patch the existing drivers

I could not get bluetooth working under 11.04, and I had to fall back to 10.10 to get it to work. You might have to do the same for wireless. But doing that introduces a host of other problems, all of which can be worked around...
