View Full Version : [SOLVED] Can you get rid of "Ubuntu Classic" session in 11.04?

I don't use the Classic session and just wondered if you could get rid of it without breaking the system.

If so, help would be awesome, thanks!

Short answer - no. :) Unity is simply a compiz plugin running on top of gnome. To take away classic gnome you would have to take out all the gnome libraries, upon which Unity depends.
