Title really says it all........ Is there a specific formula for this?

Depends on the format of the podcast... one I listen to is one episode a week, every week - so 52 a year (unless something prevents them from putting an episode up).

I don't think podcast have seasons, they just start at one and ends on some number. Only ones I know that talks about seasons is the linux action show but I never pay attention to that and some other things. :KS

There is no formula. Even with TV episode counts are never always perfect. A show might have 13 it's first season, then 22 the next, then 19, then 24, then 13 for its last.
