I'm having problems installing programs using apt-get install. When I run apt-get update, I get the error:
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

And if I run apt-get update --fix-missing I get the same thing
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Anyone have any suggestions? I've included my sources.list below
Thanks in advance.

You are running an obsolete, unsupported version of Ubuntu - 9.04/Jaunty. It passed end-of-life in October of last year.

Your best option would be to make a fresh installation of a supported version, either the LTS (long-term support) 10.04 or the most recent 11.04.
