Need to install LAMP in Ubuntu

I am new in Linux and want want to install LAMP in ubuntu. Kindly guide me the source from where i may download it and the procedure for installation.

the easiest way is to install tasksel (if it's not installed yet) then you just run it select what you want to install (for example LAMP server) and it will install it for you.: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Tasksel

hi,

I am new to ubuntu. Even i am not able to install LAMP. i tried all the option posted in this forum. nothing is working :(
tasksel is already installed. and i tried installing from tasksel it gives me
tasksel: aptitude failed (100)
and as suggested in one of the thread to update apt-get first. so i ran
sudo apt-get update even its giving me error, following is the log... please please help
