View Full Version : [ubuntu] setting snort to target wlan0 at boot

I have installed snort and it appears to be loading at boot, but with the -i eth0 variable.

I was wondering if somebody could point me in the direction of the startup script that Ubuntu is using at boot to pass off the -i eth0 variable...

I don't use my eth0 card, I use my wlan0. When I manually start snort with the -i wlan0 it seems to scan and do everything just fine, but I would like to be able to edit the startup script so it automatically does this

any help is appreciated :)
