Hello all,
I am in the process of building a new system and have been trying to install Ubuntu Server. The hardware is all brand new as follows:
MSI 890FXA-6D70
AMD PHANTOM 2
RADEON HD-6870
I've tried to install via USB and CD, both have the same result. The system boots and asks language, once selecting english and then install ubuntu server it goes to a blank black screen and does nothing. I'm thinking this may be a driver problem with the video card however I tried a card I know is supported from another system and I'm having other issues with that ( monitor reads "out of range" ) so know I'm not sure.
