Hi guys,

When i first installed 11.04 i immediately went to ubuntu classic as it's what i am used to.

A few months on i have picked up the courage to try unity. The best way for me to try it is to force myself to use it, and so i have been. The only problem is that gdm keeps defaulting to ubuntu classic, thus, i have to manually select Ubuntu each time in order to use unity.

I have tried forcing the preferences using "Login Screen" under system settings as follows. The setting should work but they dont...

Cheers in advance for any help.
