Here is an interesting blog post from about a year ago which I think a lot of people here may enjoy...

Ubuntu for Human Beings (http://disposablejoe.blogspot.com/2010/09/ubuntu-for-human-beings-it-was-once.html)

A little extract...

It was once [incorrectly] called Linux for Human Beings. We now know that it is not Linux; however, it is a free operating system that has the Linux kernel. But, it's more than a free operating system. It's a community. It's a project. It's an ethos. And, for the sake of completion, it is a word. That being said, it can't really be summed up in a simple list.

There are sooooo many Ubuntu blogs! It's obviously more than just an OS. It's a whole community, a whole new way of thinking and accomplishing things on a computer.

Mine (http://robinsrantsandraves.wordpress.com) is a "Xubuntu blog" mostly, but it really is striking, the sheer number of blogs on Wordpress, Blogger, Xanga, etc - all devoted to Ubuntu Linux!
