I was looking at an old post about Fluxbox, where they suggested having a fluxbox variant of Ubuntu called Fubuntu or Flubuntu. (Flubuntu could be the name of FLWM, the fast light window manager, on top of Ubuntu as well).

Neither one of those names sounded great though. :)

Then there's IceWM... we could name our new variant iBuntu. We could even start selling iMacs and iPhones with iBuntu on them.

They need to make a Hurd based version called GNUbuntu.

So let me make sure I've got this right. Enlightenment is an open source project with a wide fanbase, but no active developers.

Am I the only one who sees a paradox here?

There was an attempt once, but it kind of died rather quickly.

It actually used to exist, but I think the project is dead now. http://fluxbuntu.org/

If apple open sourced their Aqua UI we could have Aquabuntu. Of course the bsd kernel would have to be taken out!

It was poorly developed. If I remember correctly, the version based on 7.10 wouldn't install graphically, it would just hang at 94% because of a query.

Bodhi's using E? Hmm I thought he was using something else all together. I just thought it was a Buddhist themed Gnome or something. :)
All my college classes keep me busy and out of the loop on everything.. hehe...

There are religion-based ones:

Ubuntu Christian Edition: http://ubuntuce.com/

and Ubuntu Satanic Edition:
