I have used Ubuntu before, 9.04 specifically, I managed to get my system to dual boot without any problems.

Ive since gotten two new HDs, one 1TB and one 320GB.

1TB Disk - 1TB partition (NTFS) - contains windows 7 x64.
320GB Disk - 160GB partition (NTFS) contains docs + files. 160GB free space.

Now, booted live CD (11.04) and as expected Ubuntu detected win7 and asks if I want to install 11.04 alongside it. I click yes.

then I get this error.

The attempt to mount a filesystem with type swap in SCSI # (#,#,#), partition #5, (sdb) at none failed.
You may resume partitioning from the partitioning menu This prompted me to remove all HDs, and plug in an old 60GB which used to have ubuntu 9.04 on it.
That gave me this error.

This was after checking the disc was blank in live mode, and it was the only HD in the computer.

I am not well versed in the ways of partitioning and how this should work, any help would be appreciated.

prepare your partitions first, then use "alternate" for manual installation
(the installer hide everything, and i dont like that)
