How can i activate the dual monitor support in ubuntu ?
Currently, the two displays are active, but they are mirrored, i.e. display the same picture.
I went to Start - System - Options - Monitors, and unchecked the "mirror monitors" box, then clicked on "Apply".
But it does not work, I get the following error message: "Error. Monitor x147 out of limit. Limit is 1600x1200."
But I set the resolution on both monitors to 1154x864, way lower than the limit, so what's going on ? How can I extend my desktop over the two monitors (no mirroring!) ? :(
