after ubuntu 11.04 upgrade, dvd drive not accessible

After upgrading to ubuntu 11.04, my DVD drive on my acer aspire laptop will not automount any discs, but things are fine in windows7 on dual boot.

I tried to search for similar problems, but did not find anything, or maybe my keywords were not effective.

Any help would be appreciated.
