We have this laptop

http://us.toshiba.com/computers/laptops/satellite/C650/C655-S5193/

Spec PDF:
http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/product/pdf_files/detailed_specs/satellite_C655-S5193.pdf

IntelŪ PentiumŪ P6200 Processor, 2.13 GHz, 3MB Cache
Configured with 4GB DDR3 RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

Comes with an RGB video port

It looks like: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VGA_connector, a 15-pin port.

I have acquired a USB 2.0 Display adapter with a Dl-DVI-I connector (Fig. 4 in http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportDocument/c01525281/c01525282.jpg, DVI-I (Dual Link) in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:DVI_Connector_Types.svg)

With what have just been indicated, can I have a triple-monitor setup with my laptop?

Monitor 1: Laptop monitor
Monitor 2: RGB/VGA-port-connected monitor
Monitor 3: USB/DVI-port-connected monitor

Also, will having more monitors mean a greater processing burden on the computer? (Does the laptop computer have to "think" harder?) If so, is my new laptop powerful enough to handle multiple monitors, or will it be a slowgoing/slower experience for me, the user?

Thanks

I dont see anything that says yes. That and not sure intel graphics would support it. If it had the newest AMD GPUs in it, I would say possible, but you got to looks the the manufactures chip specifications to see if you can daisy chain them using the HDMI plug.

Doubt it- the majority of graphics cards are only capable of dual monitors. And yeah, it'd slow it down by a lot even if it did work. Intel graphics are terrible.
