I while ago I installed Ubuntu completely on my netbook that came with Windows 7 Starter. I hated the idea of just having starter and not the whole Widows 7 so I decided to switch to Linux. When I downloaded Ubuntu I completely took off Windows I didn't combine it. I installed openSUSE because I couldnt upload pics from my cam for some reason with Ubuntu. I REALLY dislike openSUSE and I want Ubuntu again until I get another laptop or OS for my netbook. I do not understand how to do anything on openSUSE. Can anyone please help me step by step how I go about installing Ubuntu again. I know I'm going to need a flash stick and I do but I have no idea what to do with the ISO or IOS?? file because openSUSE only lets me read whats on the stick not change/delete/add.... Help please....

How to go from openSUSE to Ubuntu.....????I wrote that on the openSUSE forums and someone told me to come here.... Bleh... I thought they could help since it's openSUSE that won't let me put the file for Ubuntu on my flash stick so that I can boot from it...

You could try using Unetbootin to create a bootable usb flash drive to install Ubuntu:
Then install Ubuntu. See the above site for getting started with Ubuntu:
Also check out the Ubuntu manual: http://ubuntu-manual.org/
You will need to do some reading and learning to get the most out of any linux distro. You will not learn everything in a day, a week, or even a month. How much you decide to learn is entirely up to you.
Write back if you need more help.

And welcome to the Ubuntu forums!

I REALLY dislike openSUSE

I wrote that on the openSUSE forums and someone told me to come here

Is that all they told you?

The links tommcd has posted should do you fine, but do you have access to another machine and, if so, what operating system? It's possible to create a bootable USB for installing Ubuntu using Windows if that is what you have available.
