I have a laptop running 10.04LTS/EMC2, and update manager only offers(as of 1/4 hour ago) an upgrade to 10.10.

I also have a desktop in the workshop running 8.04LTS/EMC2, but on this one, update offers me 10.04.3LTS.

How do I update my laptop to 10.04.3LTS ?

(Good reasons for having those versions running, but not relevant to the problem in hand.)

If you've been applying updates it's very likely that you already have it. To find out run this command in a terminal:

lsb_release -a

john@frizzy:~$ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS
Release: 10.04
Codename: lucid

Is this it, then ?
