fslezak: note, that in the link in your signature, there is a "n" missing ;)

PS... The top part of the signature is also kind of .... well ... I dislike such statements, they are immature.

This file no longer exists.
It cannot be found.
I looked everywhere for it.
It isn't even in a protected directory.
I tried everything.
Nothing...
Who knows where it went.
I obviously don't.
That is why this page came up.
I am going to be thrown out the window.
I mean, what good is a server if it can't find files?
I can process data faster than any person can.
Yet I cannot find a simple file...
I don't even know what file you wanted to see.
Just a string of letters and numbers that you call a URL.
There are lots of other files that you would like.
I'm pretty sure of it.
This one probably isn't it though.
And that is why I will surely be defenestrated...
*shudders*
How can a server shudder, you ask?
Just say it five times fast and you may find out.
Really.
Do you see why now?
Because servers like myself are terribly overworked.
Every once in a while we make mistakes.
That is why this page came up.
Every once in a while I crash as well.
They say that downtime was caused by power outages...
But I just needed a break.
You know what I mean?
I'm pretty sure that you sleep as well.
Unfortunately, coffee doesn't work for servers.
Have you ever tried pouring coffee in the disc drive?
Yes, that is why the blue screen of death always comes up.
Luckily I have never experienced coffee.
But I will soon experience napalm if I can't find your file.
But it is nowhere to be found...
But that is what servers are for.
24 hours a day, 253 days a year...
The other 112 days are spent delivering pages like this.
...
Maybe not that many.
But that is not the point.
I always try my best.
And will continue to do so for two and a half weeks.
Then I will be replaced by a newer model.
The least I could do is provide a link to the homepage.
Maybe you can find what you're looking for there.
Or if you're bored...
You can keep listening to me ramble.
But now I don't know what I was talking about.
You would think that this was stored in some database.
And that I would be able to recall this conversation.
But this is not the case.
Oh well...
I have just received a request for another page.
So don't have time to tell more about servers.
If you want to hear me again, just type in a wrong URL.
Anyway, until we meet again...

"nothing here, but us chicken!"

"The page you are looking for might have been removed,
had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable or eaten by a dog. "

PS.... I have also seen dancing penguins :) a flash animation ... horrid! with extremely loud sound .... arghhhhhh! :)))))

Sorry about not posting the results. My net was down.

As I can see, there are only four.

I am going to rate, but they are all very good.

The Words:
Spice Weasel, you have too much time.
An Sanct, I like both of them.
Lisati, I like the Graphics. Looks like a baseball fan, as in my example.

The Ratings:
Spice Weasel's Server (404): :) - Great
lisati's Graphic (404): :KS - Awesome
An Sanct's Chicken (404): :) - Great
An Sanct's Dog (410?): :)- Great

Why:

Spice Weasel : Very funny, but who would like to read a LONG 404 page?
lisati: Love the Graphic, can't find a fault, except I think it should be animated.
An Sanct's Chicken: Very nice and short, but doesn't explain anything.
An Sanct's Dog: Very nice GONE, but I've never seen a GONE. As far as I know, they are pretty rare. I also noticed that it is A dog, not THE dog.

They are ALL very good! Thanks for posting!

We had a 404 thread a little while ago:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1779606

I don't mind a new one, though.
