View Full Version : [ubuntu] Dual boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu 11.04 Problem!

I have a problem. i have windows 7 32bit And i want to dual boot with Ubuntu 11.04, i do everything that it says but when i reboots(total installation and demonstration) windows starts again after that reboot -.-

I USE A USB TO INSTALL IT, I USED Universal-USB-Installer-1.8.5.7.exe

Hi MirageUY,

Welcome to the forums.

Boot into your Ubuntu Live USB, Try Ubuntu, open Firefox and go to the web page:

http://bootinfoscript.sourceforge.net/

Then follow the instructions of the page in order to download and run the boot into script.

Finally post the results in this thread.

Well i get here what i have to do now:

-Open a terminal (Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal in Gnome) and type :

sudo bash [path/to/the/download_folder]/boot_info_script.sh

For example if you downloaded the file to the desktop, use:

sudo bash ~/Desktop/boot_info_script.sh

i dont know how to open a terminal -.-

If you are using an Ubuntu installation in Spanish, Desktop is not used. You have to use Escritorio. Other keywords can change too, like Downloads that are Descargas in the Spanish version.
