Using Lucid with Wubi with ethernet connected printer
Used to be able to print.
Now the printing manager in Ubuntu still shows the icon for my mfc-7220, senses that it is "idle", and still tries to process the print pages, but the printer stays asleep. The print jobs are eventually aborted.
My other computers/systems still print via same ethernet.

My Brother mfc-7220 does not have one of the preset drivers in ubuntu.
It was originally working as a "generic" printer when I first set up ubuntu maybe 9 months ago.

The troubleshooting wizard in the ubuntu print manager says:
" There are status messages associated with this queue.
The printer's state message is: '/usr/
lib/cups/backend/dnssd failed'. "

I of course have no idea what that means.

Is there some setting that I need to change, or something else to do?
Tried going to Brother to download the linux version of the 7220 driver, but was not successful in getting it installed via command lines.
