I looked at info in a local c drive from Gparted.
what does "not mounted" mean to primary partition?

from the looks of it, this just means that your not on windows. therefor your windows partition is not mounted.

It does mean that the partition isn't mounted to the running operating system. This tutorial should be a good help in describing partitioning. http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/gparted.html
