11.04 Software center closes after selecting Install

Hello all,
Apologies if this is the incorrect place to put this, but I'm having some trouble with the Software Center. When I select an application to install, it asks for authentication, then closes. The software does get added to the queue, but it's just inconvenient constantly opening the Software Center.

No errors, but the issue remains.

Maybe some more information about this would be helpful. I can not tell from your description what the problem is. Other people may not as well.

So when I run the Software Center, it opens normally and I can select x program to install. Once I click install, it prompts me for the password. Once I put in the password, the software center closes. The install continues though as when I re-open the software center I can see the status of the install.
This is only happening in Kubuntu. When I switch to Gnome I can install multiple software packages without it closing.
