View Full Version : [ubuntu] Easy RAID1 install (noob) on Atom system

Hi

I'm going to get a little Atom motherboard ( Jetway JNC94-410-LF ) with 2gb and two 750gb drives which I recovered from a, now fried, WHS box (Acer Easyshare piece of junk)

This box will be set up mostly for storage on the network (Samba I presume), running Boxee (in SD quality due to the board) and uTorrent.

I do want to keep the data safe so setting up a software based RAID1 would be my best solution?

Is there an easy way to set this up during the partitioning in the graphical install?

Cheers

Benny
