I want to watch videos at nbc.com but the website won't allow me because I'm not in the US. How do I trick NBC and make the website think I'm in the US?

So is what I want to do browser specific?

This is kind of a gray area due to the code of conduct and all.

So I will just say you should research how http proxy services work in relation to IP filtering. If a mod can sign off on this topic being ok I will gladly expand on this.

This question would be better off in the support section. I'll just add that my ISP was just having dns routing problems, so I just searched for free proxy server on Google, and used one in the US to connect to the forums.

You either need to find a free proxy server and follow their instructions on how to get connected, or you need to provide your own server in the USA.

Here is an example of the DIY method:

I'm surprised that this thread has been allowed to remain open this long. If nbc don't want to serve videos outside the US they are within their rights, and tricking them into doing so is defrauding them. Helping you do that violates the forum code of conduct. Thread closed.
