Today I got some updates on my desktop pc.... Amongst them was a kernelupdate from 2.6.38-8-generic to 2.6.38-10-generic. Since the restart after the update my wifi connection is slower than my dial-up in the 90's and the connection drops all the time... It has rendered my pc USELESS.... If I plug the wifi stick in my laptop, which still runs 2.6.38-8-generic, all is well, tried several usb wifi sticks with same result on each pc... Also: selecting 2.6.38-8 kernel in grub menu brings no joy either...
