Hi all,

I am brand new to linux and have some issues with my Dell.

Ok specs first:

Dell Inspiron 1525,
Ubuntu 11.04 Natty

I installed Ubuntu with no problems connecting to the internet through my ethernet cable but had issues with the wireless.

I followed irv's solution for this and managed to use the b43 driver instead of the STA. After this I was able to see wireless networks but couldn't connect to them. Ubuntu would say the password I entered for the network was wrong, which is wasn't.

I then proceeded to change my wireless network key and admin password on my router to try and solve the problem.

Should not have done this.

Now ubuntu won't even connect to the internet through the ethernet cable.

But the thing is the wireless and wired connection in windows vista are still fine, even with the new wireless keys etc.

Any help to get connected would be really appreciated!
