Desktop: upgraded! What do you think?

Paid $30 at an estate sale for a whole bunch of random electronics, from motherboards and graphics cards, to cables.

Used a bunch of parts to beef up one of my old desktop computers. Specs are in the signature.

So, what do you think? Win? I think so too.

Just goes to show, $30 can still go a long way. ;)

Dang just the mobo is 70 bucks! I would look into the bios for unlocking options. Many people report being able to unlock it to a quad core!

The processor was already unlocked when I got it, but it was too unstable, so I re-enabled the stock settings.

The people running that estate sale didn't know anything about computers, so, win!
