I want to upgrade my Ubuntu 8.04.1 installation to 10.
This page: http://www.linuxreaders.com/2010/05/01/upgrade-ubuntu-8-04-to-10-04-using-shell/
Says you can do it with:
sudo do-release-upgrade -d
.. And I'm scared. Looks too easy. This is a remote server, so any reboots/re-images mean $$$.
When I do this remotely, what will happen? What should I expect?
