Hi all. I'm just about to fit a 1TB HDD. What would be handy to know is, how to partition it?
What I have already.
300Gig.

/BOOT 299Mb
/Swap 2Gb
/Root 8Gb
/Home 290Gb

There is also a 500Gb drive split 360/140 NTFS, which I would like to move all across to the 1Gb drive when all is ready and do the same to that. partition for UBUNTU,

The new drive is to replace a 160Gb ext4 already installed. I plan to fit this to another system.
I will be using the 1TB for programs, but mainly storage. (25/75)
So, what's the best format please?
This system is running 11.04, and it's fine, no problems.
Thanks
Andy
