I just upgraded from 10.04 --> 10.10 --> 11.04 and am now stuck at the GRUB menu whenever I turn the machine on. My PS/2 keyboard won't function in this menu so I can't choose to launch Ubuntu.

I have tried booting from the Live CD (on a USB external drive) and also editing BIOS settings to change the boot order. Neither option works, and the fact that I can't even get into BIOS makes me think the keyboard may be bad.

Is there any way to get out of GRUB and launch Ubuntu without a keyboard, or any other potential solutions to this problem?

you should try enabling "legacy usb support" or "usb wake support" or "usb support" in your bios.

Just the obvious, try a different keyboard, wish you were here because id gladly give you 20 of them. I seem to be tripping over keyboards lately.
