Trying to install 11.04, no internet detected?

I am trying to install 11.04 but it says I have no ethernet connection. I start up Windows, and if I unplug and put the ethernet cable back in, it works. Maybe its a hardware issue?

I have had 11.04 running before, but I installed it with wubi.
