Hello all,

Uh...
Living on the edge and willing to risk it all, I'd like to dive into the recent GNOME III goodness.
I use Ubuntu Maverick 64. Is there an official (or semi-so) guide for GNOME III on this Ubuntu? Because on GNOME III wobsite all I see is, uh, SuSE and Fedora.
Also is there a possibility to parallel the new GNOME with whatever older version I am using right now?

Thank you very much and have a good day.

Gnome 3 for ubuntu is not official ppa but still you can use it as it better in appearance than unity. Gnome 3 use shell as base where Ubuntu use unity thats why ubuntu is not seen on gnome 3 site.

Excellent. How (from where) do I obtain GNOME III and how (if possible) do I parallel it with my existing, older GNOME?

Oh I already did the jhbuild build thing. The result is complete system destruction and system re-install.
