I'm interested in buying the Ubuntu Mousepad, will custom duties be applied since it's being shipped from the UK to the US?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, though I prefer the mousepad Canonical has :D
Just need to know if customs duties will apply to it.

The charges you may incur if any would be down to your customs in the US and state i guess.
It is not the UK or canonical responsbile for this, you will need to check with your local post office.
When i lived in the US i never received any charges for items sent from the UK, it is the other way round in the UK though, if i order something from the US then i may have to pay import duty.

You'll want to check your customs rules; they should list import tax for all of the different classes (DVDs, clothes, books, gifts, et cetera).
That's how we check in the UK; it may well be different out there.

Yeah, I found the HTS .pdf file...if only it wasn't over 100 pages long -_- Can't find anything useful..
Politicians here love to go the complicated way...

On stuff of low value I would not worry.
