10.04 lts -> 11.04 lts

I haven't attempted to upgrade yet, but i was wondering if it is possible to upgrade like that.

11.04 is not an LTS. 12.04 will be.

I am sure you can. The easiest way is probably to download the updated CD from www.ubuntu.com, backup your files, boot from the CD and hit the upgrade option when you open the install program.

For me, the upgrade from 10.10 to 11.04 worked great.

11.04 is not LTS. To upgrade, back up your data, press ALT+F2 and type 'update-manager -d' without the quotes and follow the instructions.
