Hi all
This is related to an earlier post I made: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1795877
; however this new post is specifically about boot configuration.
I won't explain the reasons here (too long), but I want a dual boot system without overwriting the Windows (Vista) MBR.
Vista is already installed and I will install Ubuntu server with LAMP from CD; and then install ubuntu-desktop with apt. I want 3 boot options:
Windows
Ubuntu server
Ubuntu desktop
So I have two main questions:
How do I configure windows to boot linux
How do I create two linux boot configurations (one to start as a a server with LAMP and one to start as a desktop without any server processes).
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks.
