Hello everyone, I am new to linux ubuntu and I have installed lamp server on ubuntu 10.10 desktop. I need to setup a shared calendar server which people can access with a web browser. The church needs a calendar where we can have meetings and important activities all together. Also, I need to give access to users and have a super users that can update the calendar.

I have looked at zimbra (commercial), rationale (individual) , and cidra (would not run)

Thanks

consider http://www.davical.org/

I installed this for home, we use it with Evolution but oss and caldav standards mean other client should be ok. http://www.davical.org/

Took some tinkering to get going, need to be comfortable with tomcat and postgres.
