Winstron, HTC, Velocity Micro, Itronix and as of today Samsung pay Microsoft licensing fees for using Android. Amazon also pays because Kindle runs on Linux. At present, Microsoft is making more money from Android than it is from WP7

Someone has got to challenge this crap in court. Does anyone know if Microsoft actually has a case?

Arg! I'm so angry about this!

What do Microsoft claim requires this licensing? Is this the same stuff that Novell, Xandros, etc. had to pay Microsoft for?

Very thankful I live in a country that doesn't recognise all this software patent rubbish. Really hope it stays that way.

Anyone else hyper-pissed Microsofts exploitation of Intellectual property law?Not really, I've got more important things to be thinking about. All big companies do it, so I don't see why you're singling out Microsoft :-)

I use Android, Desktop Linux and Microsoft products.
